Managing Director

Meet Kerry Underwood, our director with over 43 years of bookkeeping experience in a wide range of industries, including retail, travel, building and construction, transport, production, and mechanical.

 

Kerry’s extensive experience gives her a deep understanding of the unique financial requirements of different industries, enabling her to provide tailored bookkeeping services to her clients. As a certified BAS agent, Kerry also has strong knowledge of all MYOB products, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible advice and support.

 

At YBAV, Kerry brings an invaluable depth of knowledge and expertise to our team, providing hands-on support throughout all aspects of accounting and office procedures. SeNIOR BOOKKEEPER

Meet Katie, an experienced bookkeeper with a strong background in administration, accounts, office procedures, and payroll in the building and construction industry. With over 10  years of experience in bookkeeping, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

 

Before becoming a full-time bookkeeper, Katie worked in various administrative and accounting roles in the building and construction industry, where she gained a deep understanding of the financial requirements of this unique industry. Katie’s background in office management support and auditing also makes her a valuable addition to our team.

 

In addition to her experience in the building and construction industry, Katie has worked in a variety of other industries, including retail, health and wellbeing, childcare, and the equine industry. Her broad experience enables her to provide tailored bookkeeping services to clients in different industries.

 

Katie’s organizational skills and attention to detail are second to none. She is committed to providing her clients with accurate and efficient bookkeeping services, and she takes pride in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

SENIOR BOOKKEEPER

Meet Sue, our experienced bookkeeper with over 10 years of experience in the field. Prior to her bookkeeping career, Sue worked for larger organizations such as Woolworths, where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in various duties.

 

Sue has worked in many different industries and trades, including retail, hairdressing and beauty, mechanical, production, construction and building, and horticulture. Her diverse experience has given her a strong understanding of the unique financial requirements of each industry, enabling her to provide tailored bookkeeping services to her clients.

 

Sue’s expertise extends beyond basic bookkeeping tasks, and she has extensive knowledge of setting up and maintaining accounting systems, as well as ensuring compliance with GST regulations. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy have earned her a reputation as a reliable and trusted bookkeeping professional.

Meet Susan, a highly experienced bookkeeper who brings over 10 years of experience in the banking industry and 15 years of experience in finance control in the design and marketing sector to our team at YBAV. Her extensive background in finance and bookkeeping makes her a valuable addition to our experienced staff.

 

Since joining YBAV in October 2019, Susan has made significant contributions to our practice. Her expertise in Xero and her attention to detail have helped us provide our clients with accurate and efficient bookkeeping services. Susan specialises in NDIS, Retail, Florists, and Trades. We value Susan’s positive attitude, dedication, and commitment to excellence, and we look forward to having her as a valuable member of our team for many years to come.

Olivia is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills, with a goal to be qualified by next year. She is eager to learn from experienced professionals such a Kerry and leverage her expertise to deliver exceptional services to her clients. She brings with her a demonstrated passion for assisting others and a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the success of businesses. Meet Georgia, the administrative superstar of our bookkeeping practice. With her keen attention to detail and superb organizational skills, she keeps our office running smoothly and ensures that all of our clients receive the best service possible.

From managing our schedules and Lodging BAS’s and Super through the ATO Portal, Georgia takes care of all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our business running smoothly. She is always ready to tackle any task that comes her way, no matter how big or small, with a positive attitude and a can-do spirit.

But Georgia is more than just a whiz at administrative tasks. She is also a warm and welcoming presence in our office, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. Whether you’re a client or a colleague, Georgia is always there to lend an ear and offer support.
